And this is why Im back to playing WoW...............
The client is so broken at this point that there is so many errors that players still dont know what to do to fix it. I would suggest trying to reinstall the gf launcher but am far from an expert on the matter. Just remember that a lot of people reading this forum are in a similar situation to you, trying to play the game and cant due to gameforges incompetence in bringing this client live, Most people reading this are probably unable to offer any insight to how to fix this.
I have around 50 million gold worth of cards in my mail, Im gonna be so pissed if they expire
I had a guild member with Windows 7, where the Gameforge Client always crashed when he tried to start it. New installation was not possible, because the Gameforge Client installer immediately crashed, too. The old GameforgeLive Client was also still present.
For fixing it, first I uninstalled the old GameforgeLive Client. Then I tried to uninstall the Gameforge Client, using the windows control center, but it did not work because it said a file is missing, which is needed for uninstalling. Then I renamed the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\GameforgeClient to get rid of the broken client. After this, I was able to re-install the Gameforge Client. Then the client was aware that there is already a Runes of Magic installation. But this did not work, because the client.exe was always crashing. Then I started a check of the installation. This took him over 3 hours. But then it worked.
Chek de compability the exe file and run as administrator
I uninstalled the gameforge client and reinstalled it and finally got it working but now I have no characters ![]()
You need to add your game account(s) to your gameforge account.
Then press "change game account" and select the one you normally use to login. Also make sure your region is set to the appropriate one.
OMG thank you! ![]()
