    I need help. When I log in an account on my list at first it works fine, but after that character is logged out, the account shows as greyed out and unavailable to log in another character. This is happening every time I log out a character. I usually have to hit CTR,SHFT,ESCAPE and close the background process to be able to log in again. This is VERY annoying if you have several characters to log in on the same accounts. Is there any way top fix this? It once worked properly, but I accidently hit the repair button and it hasn't worked properly since. I have tried reinstalling Runes of Magic by itself, Gameforge launcher by itself, and both together to no avail. I have also added .EXE files to the environment variables to fix the client.exe error. I am at my wit's end with this. Please help

    I recommend using Gameforge support for technical advice on things like this. You have to register separately from the game to set up a support account name and password. They may take a few days to get back to you, but you should get an email notification to check back for the answer. They have been solving this problem for folks ever since they released the launcher, so I'm pretty sure they have the fix.


    I have the same problem but only about once every 6 weeks, and I just open the task manager and do what you have been doing.

    corrupt install . reload . be sure to do a complete uninstall , uninstall rom and gameforge client . remove any folders left behind . use disk cleanup .


    restart the machine .


    download current gameforge client . install it , reinstall runes of magic .

    use disk cleanup and defrag the machine .


    restart the machine .
