So kann jeder tun, was er will. Oder mach es einfach wie das Helveta- und Lakishna-Dungeon-Format, das bereits existiert.

    Thank you for that explanation, it helps for future topics. In this instance, I was mainly just wanting the total HP of the monster to determine if a skill should be cast before combat, so the UnitChangeHealth function seems to do it. Thank you all for the assistance with this.

    After further testing of UnitChangeHealth, I have decided that function is too buggy for the purpose I had intended it for. Weird things happen with it if used too much. Not sure if this is because it isn't a standard LUA function, or not. I guess I will have to abandon this idea, as I see no other way to get the real HP instead of a %.

    Ok, so after further testing and changing the chat messages to chat window instead of the say channel (chat window limits the amount of messages to every 2 seconds), it seems that it changes faster when you target other mobs. It just updates every 2 seconds on the same mob. If you change mobs 3 times in a second, you will get the health of all 3 mobs, but if you keep the same mob targeted, it only updates every 2 seconds. I believe my misunderstanding of the function was the problem.

    Code
    1. if UnitCanAttack("player","target") and UnitHealth("target") < 800000 then CastSpellByName("Fireball") end

    I tried that, but for some reason when targeting a monster, it changes to percentage instead of actual health values. I used SendChatMessage("Health is " .. UnitHealth("target"),"SAY") to check. I'm not sure why it changes to percentages when targeting things other than yourself, but it seems to. By doing the same with UnitChangeHealth it shows exact health of the enemy.

    Is it possible to check the health of a monster faster than every 2 seconds? For instance, when your target changes? I was trying to make a bit of code to cast flame on a monster if it had less than 800,000 HP. The code I have works fine at first, but when I target another monster and it's been less than 2 seconds, it messes up. Is there possibly a different function I could use other than UnitChangeHealth that will return the current health (in a number, not %) that could be called when targets change or something? The code I have is:

    if UnitCanAttack("player","target") and UnitChangeHealth("target") then local targetHealth = UnitChangeHealth("target")

    if targetHealth < 800000 then FrblChkHlth = true else FrblChkHlth = false end

    end

    if FrblChkHlth then CastSpellByName("Fireball") end

    A final request for an addition to this addon. I was hoping for the addon to be able to send mail normally when SpeedQueue is turned off (Slowly, but still work without stopping part of the way through) when receiving multiple items through the mail. It works perfectly when SpeedQueue is turned on. That way I could leave SpeedQueue off until I need it for accepting lots of items in the mail.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    Eine letzte Bitte um eine Ergänzung dieses Addons. Ich hatte gehofft, dass das Addon in der Lage wäre, E-Mails normal zu versenden, wenn SpeedQueue deaktiviert ist (langsam, aber dennoch ohne mitten im Vorgang zu stoppen), insbesondere beim Empfang mehrerer Gegenstände per E-Mail. Es funktioniert perfekt, wenn SpeedQueue eingeschaltet ist. So könnte ich SpeedQueue ausgeschaltet lassen, bis ich es für den Empfang vieler Gegenstände per E-Mail benötige.

    Yes, unfortunately this doesn't work, because the frame needs an edit focus to accept keystrokes and if that were the case, then you would have such a problem that you could no longer walk/write when you open zmail, or click around in it.

    I need you to upload your programming knowledge so I can download and assimilate it for future questions I have. This worked, and I was able to add it to my zmail. Thank you!

    <OnEscapePressed>
    this:Hide()
    </OnEscapePressed>

    I tried again adding this bit of code and still have had no success.

    similar to

    OnLoad,

    OnEvent,

    OnShow and so on

    I even tried adding it in these spots, but all it ended up doing is braking the addon. :/ My knowledge is lacking in this situation. I still think this is an excellent addon, and I have started using it exclusively. Thank you.

    I must have done it wrong. I added that bit of code, and nothing changed. TY for the quick response on such a trivial matter. I am a beginner on programming and will probably just wait till there is an update to the addon. TY again for your help :)

    Is there no way to do "TargetUnit("")" in an addon? Every time I try, it does nothing. Am I doing something wrong? I was trying to do "if UnitIsUnit("target","player")then TargetUnit("") end". It works in a macro, but not in an addon.

    I was trying the TirasBuffCounter addoin, but noticed that it shows more counted buffs than I actually have. On my Champion/Rogue (psyron/thief) I have 2 buffs (Shadow Explosion and Peak Level XX buffs) and 0 debuffs, but it counts 4 buffs/debuffs. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

    Ich habe das TirasBuffCounter-Addoin ausprobiert, aber festgestellt, dass es mehr gezählte Buffs anzeigt, als ich tatsächlich habe. Auf meinem Champion/Schurken (Psyron/Dieb) habe ich 2 Buffs (Shadow Explosion und Peak Level XX Buffs) und 0 Debuffs, aber es zählt 4 Buffs/Debuffs. Gibt es etwas, was getan werden kann, um das Problem zu beheben?

    TirasBuffCounter steht jetzt im ursprünglichen Beitrag als zusätzliches Add-On zum Download bereit. Ihr habt die Möglichkeit, die Anzeige nach Belieben zu verschieben. Abhängig von der Anzahl der aktiven Buffs und Debuffs wird diese in den jeweiligen Farben dargestellt. Es sollte ein nützliches Tool für PvP-Spieler sowie für Iniläufer sein.(Hausmädchen, Trafotrank retten)

    Hat das jemand getestet, um zu sehen, wie es funktioniert? Hinterlassen Sie hier eine Antwort, um es mir mitzuteilen.

    Has anyone tested this to see how it works? Leave a reply here to let me know.

    Found out the problem with the clickable icon for Paspers. For some reason PYDB wasn't updated properly. This has been remedied. Thank you for your time. The maps for Mirrorworld is fixed with the WoWmap poi addon, so no problems anymore here. Keep up the good work!

    Habe das Problem mit dem anklickbaren Symbol für Paspers herausgefunden. Aus irgendeinem Grund wurde PYDB nicht richtig aktualisiert. Dies wurde behoben. Vielen Dank für Ihre Zeit. Die Maps für Mirrorworld sind mit dem WoWmap poi Addon fixiert, also keine Probleme mehr hier. Machen Sie weiter so!

    On the English client, the message posted by Irathar, is still happenining. Especially in specific Mirror Worlds. The only way to fix it is with the Wowmap-poi folder for some reason. I'm not sure where I got it from, and if there is a new version. Or is this a bug in Wowmaps?

    Also, the clickable icon for Pasper's Shrine is not showing for the english client for some reason.

    Auf dem englischen Client findet die von Irathar gepostete Nachricht immer noch statt. Vor allem in bestimmten Spiegelwelten. Die einzige Möglichkeit, das Problem zu beheben, besteht aus irgendeinem Grund über den Wowmap-poi-Ordner. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, woher ich es habe und ob es eine neue Version gibt. Oder ist das ein Fehler in Wowmaps?

    Außerdem wird das anklickbare Symbol für Paspers Schrein aus irgendeinem Grund nicht für den englischen Client angezeigt.
