By the time you posted the problem was resolved. Gameforge needed to renew their certification, and they did so.
Nope - i still got that SSL error message 
again and again...
"uninstall/install the Gameforge client" - doesn't help also
"I'm guessing you are all in Europe" - yes, at least I am
Some of my friends also got that error
So - this problem will be resolved?
so, 3 weeks from lats question - and the administration still doesn't answer at all!
Do they even care?
A lot of players have problems with game - and have no respond 
How do you think, that's normal?

The certificate error that occured this evening has been resolved and you should be to log in again.

Server Gaia is crashed. Again and again and again...
Maybe you should try to find out the reason? Look when it started - what happend back then, and what cause the problem?
Because now it's getting harder every day, get some joy from game

The newbie areas are quite empty, but new players still come to play, from time to time.
And with some luck, you can eventually find yourself some friends to play with)
But here is one issue - from my point of view - 90% players want to level up very fast, skippind game contents, just to reach 100+ lvl, where the "real game" is)
(later some of them doesn't know all their skills, game basic, and asking "child" questions, but that's another story )
And because of it, it's not easy for the newcomers find a party to dungeon at the begining...
Just because "running" throw the dungeons being 10+ level higher, with "super" gear, and alone - the fastest way...
But not all players like the "fast way", some of them still like the "classical" way of playing)
And I'm one of them) 
You see, I think about Runes of Magic like a MMO-game) surprise 
Not "I run dungeons alone in 5 minutes", but "I was in all dungeons by it's level, with party")
That's not fast, and you doesn't kill the bosses in 1 second, but it's more challenging and interesting way to complete dungeons)
Especially with friends)
Especially when you see the game for the first time)
So - you can ask in zone chat, someone can help you.
Because it's way more interesting way, to play with friends)
Once more - for the 100+ level players that will read this - that's only my opinion, how i see this.
And there is no "right", or "wrong" playing.
Everyone chose how to play for himself.
Play as you like, and how you like, the main idea is getting fun) 
I'm confused...
In a previous topic (Bugfixes add a bug to festival) i got strange ansver, and don't understand the reason at all:

But wait...that festival event was created a long time ago!
1 year ago i did that event, by about 30 lvl and everything was ok
Before "bugfix" Maintenance (22.07.2021) - i was able to do that event by 55 lvl.
and after bugfix - it appears that event "is designed for 100 lvl characters" 
Whait, what???
I don't understand...
if it "was designed for 100 lvl" from the begining - how it was worked before 100 lvl was existed???
if it "was designed for 100 lvl" just recently - why there is NO information about it?
So - from now on - ANY festival event could be changed to "100 lvl only"?
Without any explanation\information about changes?
(until some players discover that by accident and started asking questions)
Am I correct?

Relog\cnange channels\repair client\removing addons\asking tech support - nothing works((((
festival npc still doesn't work for chars from 10 to 55 lvl
(but it was working 1 year ago, and nowadays before "bugfix" patch)
And it's obviously a bug!
I understand that server merging is the most important thing on earth,
but why administration doesn't even care to answer??
The bug still there - no dialog with npc at all 
I try "repair" the client 3 times, and 2 more after maintenance 29.07 - not helping
My friends 100-level said that event work for them - so maybe the bug depends on level? or class, or something else?
1 year ago i did that event without problem, and now before "bugfixes" - everything was fine...
Maybe someone from administration finally will try to fix the bug??
After the last Maintenance (22.07.2021) festival event on the Varanas bridge doesn't work anymore
Before maintenance, there was a dialog with npc Saska Feron, and quest was ok.
Now there is strange symbols and no dialog
Neither different channels, nor relog\reboot - not helping
(even talking with npc 30 minutes before event starting time - still the same)
Please fix the bug!

Please follow the instructions in post # 2. If that doesn't help, please remove all addons from your client to check of the issue is still present.

Neither restarting, nor removing all addons - the problem still there....
Maybe you will start to fix the bug??
My friends have the same problem - restart/remove addons won't help.
And due to the fact that my computer settings doesn't change, and the problem appeared after your patch - maybe the problem in your patch, not in everyone else computers?
This might sound strange and unrelated to Rom, but please restart your computer using the "Restart" option (NOT shut down).

Today's "Performance improvements" patch delete all quest from the map!
Yesterday, they were, but today - the map is clean....

I completed all events except the one close to varanas hall of wisdom, it always says that its not the right hour even when it is
Could someone tell me whats wrong with it, i never did it
This event has 2 condition - it's a time-related event, and you need a party, 4 players at least - maybe that will help)
Just pay attention - event time is always CET-time, and could be corrected due to your time-zone, if needed)
Speak with npc, he will tell you the right time, and basic rules.
And you can get 2 titles from there (if you will be a rabbit about 25-30 seconds, and if you use skills on other players)

If you doesn't like something in game - why everyone else must hate it?
If you can't do some festival event - why do you think everyone else can't do that also?

Maybe you begin playing recently, and dont know it - but some everyday event in guild buildings - "Drill Grounds" - aslo can kill you and give a debt if you fail.
And more - don't go anywhere, because mobs\bosses in dungeons, but even in location - can killed you, and you also can get a debt!))))))

I got strange bug with resourses.
npc Fend Keth in Weeping Coast can sell you bag with 100 resourses, i buyed there a couple of times and everything was ok.
for example:
If you need "Maple timber" - you buying it - and get "Maple timber", and so on.
everything seems right and logical.
Yesterday i need to buy "Yew timber" timber", on the second page
i buy "Yew timber", open it- and i get......"Tarslin Demon Wood timber"

I thought that game developers miss the names and switch the resourses (Yew on the bottom left, Tarslin Demon on the botom right), buy Tarslin Demon timber...
guess what i get after open it? "Dragonlair wood" (((

1.5 month - I still can't play(
I thought somebody will replace this sertificate, but unfortunatelly no...
So...as nothing changes - I must say "goodbye" to the game, or this problem will be resolved?

a) deleting or deactivating the certificate in question on your machine. (It expired on May 30th anyway, so even if it does not fix the issue, it cant make it worse)
Run > certmgr.msc
see Trusted Root Certification Authorities > Certificates
find the "AddTrust External CA Root" and delete it. You can export it first via rightclick > all tasks > export , just in case.

c) rather simple: pressing "Yes" when the question pops up again, because this is not an attack or anything but it's simply an expired root certificate - this is just a workaround.

a) deleting the expired certificate + b) replacing and installing new sertificates -
in the end I have similar error, but now with another name and another date
And as far as i understand, this new "Sectigo" error sertificate will expired in 2030-
i thought 10 years is more than enough for the playing...
And I played all this time without "Sectigo" errors, obviously...
c) "pressing "Yes" when the question pops up again" -
after that I'm able to log in to the Gameforge client - thats good
But... there is no option to "play" at all ((
The one and only option a have there - is to install the game once more...

P.S. Gameforge client was updating twice, all I wrote i have with last version of the client
P.P.S. Restarting computer and gameforge client many times didn't work
So i don't know what to do next - One week without game has started(((
