I have made most of main line quests but now I don't know where I am and which quests I have already done. I can see that I have not finished the main line quests and I might hav done some of "The Spirits of Despair". How do I find out where I am?

I have tried for many years to make addons work but in vain. I have made Program files/ Runes of Magic/interface/AddOns which I was told would make them work but they don't. I am not a computer wizard so I am probably doing something wrong. Any suggestions?
