Downtime chat? Why not?
What to do while waiting for servers to come back up... I'll start.
I've put this off for years, but now that the curse add-on site is gone, I finally installed twitch, to update all of these old add-ons I'm still using. I tried twitch when it first came out, and didn't like it. Now, so far, it seems okay.
Looking at an old mod I wrote, maybe I'll update it. Why not, I appear to now have the time........
XP event next 3 days w00t!!!!!!
Awesome. Just made my weekend.
Thanks, ROM
A simple "server going down" would've been nice.
I was right in the middle of a fight, when server kicked me off. Will log back in, and be dead. Expense that could've been easily avoided.
Glad they almost done. Thanks for the update.
I would be thankful for correct information from Game Forge. As I sit here wondering why servers that were not suppose to go off-line have been off for 10 hours.
10 hours?
Went offline for me yesterday 4pm, it's 9am now, still down. 17 hours so far.
That's okay. I'm not complaining, just anxious to hop back in
Fingers crossed!
Got my toon up to 56/56, and ready to start the Dalanis story line quests, both lines.
Hoping we get an xp event. This will be my fourth character leveling to 100, so it should go pretty quickly, as I remember pretty much every quest.
Also have bags empty, resources ready, some t8 stones ready to upgrade new weapons, diamonds for plussers, and lots of coffee and munchies on stand by
Anyone else looking forward to an xp event?
Whoa!
So, all the mobs in the area drop the recipe, I didn't know that! I've been ignoring the others, of if I kill them, not looting
Big help! Thanks!
Hi,
Is the 'Kal Turok King Myrmex' in Dust Devil Canyon still the mob to farm for the Hero Potion recipe? I've been at it for hours, and no luck yet. Just want to make sure it's not broken, or I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks

Exactly. I wish I hadn't closed the client I always close/restart clients every few hours, to cut down on crashes. It's a good habit, normally.
Oh well, it's fine. I'm just happy this game is still going. I've tried other games, and keep coming back to ROM.
Waiting...
12 hours later, servers still down.
Launcher says it all:
Waiting...
I guess I should add I was just playing the game before this, just fine.
Just finished a siege. Closed the game client, and went to restart it, and got this problem.
Both computers were playing the game client just fine. I closed both games on both computers (switching toons) and game won't let me in now.
I suspect somebody accidentally flagged the patch file for download (scheduled maintenance is tomorrow, I'm guessing they preparing for it today).
Hope this helps,
Cheers
Can't start game, on 2 different pc's.
Launcher runs fine, click on PLAY, it switches to RUNNING, then after about a minute, get error:
Download http://rom-enus-patch.runewaker.com/patch/:80 version.txt fail!!
I rebooted both computers. Still same problem.
Hope this helps...
Cheers
