Fire Festival

In the past, when the frost and snow fell and the moon disappeared from the sky, the Frostmoon Demon Beast Thysdyr would awaken from his sleep and cause destruction everywhere. At the time, the people had no way to stop him, so they could only flee. They would wait for Thysdyr to leave, then return to rebuild their homes. The villagers lived through this nightmare year after year, until one year at this time, a strangely-dressed traveller came to visit even though he knew the terrible beast would attack.

That night, as Thysdyr's angry roar drew nearer and nearer, the traveller sat in the empty city, quietly waiting...

The next day, the villagers returned to find their village untouched. Surprised, they asked the traveller what had happened. It turns out that Thysdyr was afraid of rune-catalyzed flame. This exciting news spread quickly to all the nearby villages. After that, every time the Frostmoon Beast awoke, he could only continue to hide in the darkness.

Many years have passed, and Thysdyr hasn't been seen for a long time. But every year when the snowy season arrives, people build a giant pyre and dance around it, throwing in rune catalysts. They celebrate day and night and call the celebration the Festival of Fire.

Between January 17th, 00:00 AM (server local time) and January 18th, 11:59 PM (server local time), there will be an experience and talent point event! During this period, all experience gained from quests and combat will be increased by 150% while talent points gained from combat will be increased by 150%.

The Runes of Magic Team

Snowflake Festival

Zachariel was a Great Mage of the Eye of Wisdom from the time 400 years ago when the Eye of Wisdom was still residing on the Kolydian continent. He was well known because of his benevolent deeds. In the midst of a harsh winter he would provide the needy with supplies.

Once the people of the Eye of Wisdom had come to Candara, they decided to keep this habit in order to foster a peaceful relationship with the local people. When the season of heavy snow had come they would, just as Zachariel had done, wear a red robe and provide the local people with supplies. This gesture helped many endure the long winters and also built trust between the people and the Eye of Wisdom. Soon we were doing this every winter and it became a custom and was named the Snowflake Festival.

After the Phirius Workshops had been set up, they meant to take advantage of this custom and decided to make some modifications to the red robe and thereafter let their people wear these robes while delivering presents to little children. Their actions won many praises from the people and also allowed them to make more money.

The Phirius Workshops taking a fancy to this custom would make the Snowflake Festival an even bigger event in the years to come. Each year more and more people took part in these activities creating this wonderful and exciting atmosphere that we can experience during the winter season nowadays.

The Advent season is upon us, and the first snow is falling in Taborea. Throughout the land, the inhabitants are preparing for this time, and there’s a festive Christmas spirit in the air.

But in this land of magic, new adventures and challenges also lurk around every corner. This year is no different from the others. Wild monsters roam the land, and we have some exciting events planned for you.

Sharpen your swords, polish your armor, and defeat the monsters attacking Taborea.

Gifts from Santa Claus

Do you still remember the days when you used to write letters to Santa Claus? In Taborea, it’s the other way around - during the Christmas season, Santa and his helpers send you letters with small gifts inside.

Don’t miss any of these helpful messages! Between December 24th and January 1st, these surprises will be waiting for you. Look forward to various useful items that will help you on your adventures.

If you have multiple characters on one account, the one who logs in first will receive the gifts. And even if you miss a day, it won’t affect the gifts you receive on the following days.

Boost Events

XP/TP and drop events start at 00:00 and always end at 23:59 on the announced dates. The bunker event runs from server maintenance to server maintenance.

Please note that the increased drop rate is only active when you are in a party.
