It is difficult for us to help in such a situation because initially the gift option (as you can read very well) was made to send present to another player's inbox. And for a long time this was used as argument (a valid one) to say well you're on your own. Sounds harsh I know.

Now there's one exception. Make screenshots of your conversation with this so called seller showing a trade was going to take place and submit a screenshot to support. We cannot promise that you will get back your gold and definetely not your goods (which is for the latter probably not the answer you were hoping for), but the same person will think twice next time they try to scam someone.

Ok, that is good, but what about the rising prices of diamonds in-game and the lack of players buying them to sell to other players? Is the economy just going to be slowly ruined due to the inflation in price of a resource that has been non-existent only in recent months that every player relies on?

Over the past few months, the price change of diamonds in game has increased by over 50% (steady at 100k originally to now people trying to buy for 150k to 170k) on my server. Is the marketing person looking at what is causing this? This inflation is unhealthy to the entire economy. There is no one buying diamonds to sell to other players anymore. Help stimulate the economy back to the normal rates of the past few years. This can't be as hard as you guys make it.

If you are playing on an old server (e.g. Vidar for EU, or Aeterna for US), a good friend/guildie could power level you in one of the last two instances and that would probably be easiest.

Otherwise, there is Aslan Valley, Dragonfang Ridge, and Coast of Opportunity/Xaveria(preferred) for about that level. Once you get past 50, there is only one zone for each set of levels, so make sure to leave any unneeded quests behind so that you have some to level second and third class with. Meaning you shouldn't need all the quests in most of the zones to get to the level for the next one.

Rogue/Warden for PvP if you have separate PvP gear. The self heal is great (45 and 60 elites) when you reach the point where you are harder to kill. If you are using PvE gear and just burn opponents, I don't think there is a benefit to Rogue/Warden though because a lot of the elites are survivability (at least 5 of them, I think), but in PvE gear you are likely to be killed easily anyways.

    Rogue/Mage for PvE.

They merged all the servers together, so the Aeterna server would have your characters on it if they were still around.

Unfortunately, when they did this, they deleted all characters who did not log in within a certain time period of the server merge, but allowed returning players for a time period afterwards to write in a ticket for a manual copy of the characters to be made. I don't think you can do this anymore, but you can always write a ticket and try.

Since you said there was a different publisher (Frogster), that is like 7 years ago, so I would think your character is long gone, sorry. :(

I think making it every two hours won't solve the problem of over crowding. I think it will have the same effect as a video I watched about expanding lanes of a highway.

Basically, for the highway in the video, it was crowded and so the city planners thought "we should add more highway lanes" to ease the congestion. But the problem with that is there were people not using the highway to begin with because of how bad traffic was. Once they heard that there was going to be less traffic due to more lanes, they decided to use the highway as well. More lanes = more traffic.

I think this would be true here. More Tempest Heights would just mean more people would come to do it or the same amount of people would do it more often.

My suggestion of adding a third was just to be fair to people of all time zones. (Which wasn't what the topic was about, but just my personal problem.)

Just going to take a guess...Are you in the instance Barren Cave, as opposed to the are around the entrance?

You need to enter the blue circle in the following picture.

    80f93261286e2377644c89364a96a6d1.png

It is located here on the map in Howling Mountain.

It'll teleport you the actual dungeon "Barren Cave".

If you were already in there, he is at the end.

He looks like this and is at this location.

    Hope this helps. :3

I think a third time slot would a nice, easy, and logical choice. One every 8 hours.

Right now, I'm playing mostly at what majority of players consider the night. With the active siege time being the same as the later Tempest Height's time and me sleeping during the early one, I only get to go like once or twice a week due to siege opponents not showing. A night time would cure this issue for people like me. This is a bigger problem on the United States server, I would think, because we are also the Australian server and those are like exactly opposite time zones. Australian players must never get the opportunity to go.

Don't think making it once per day per character would be a solution. It'd create more problems than it would solve. The market would be flooded with people bringing alts into it to the disadvantage of people with limited time or characters.

What's the reason behind this? Every change we want to have in the forum will have to be enabled for all language boards and approved by the product team. Now if we forward just this one sentence, I wouldn't even expect an answer :)

It'd separate the questions asked by players and the guides written by players into two areas. For new players, they might find it easier to browse a bunch of guides that are all in the same place, instead of seeing a bunch of questions that may only pertain to the individual asking the question. It'd also be easier to locate a guide when searching for it rather than questions about the topic. For example, if you search for a certain guide currently in that section, you could find both the guide you want or questions relating to that topic. If you split them and you search in the guide section, you'd find whichever you are looking for easier.

Not sure if that is what you are asking for as far as reasoning. Basically just easier navigation.

I think the problem with this is, that its too generalized, certain classes are better in different circumstances. For example, in long fights, wl/ch can be an insane dps with its short cooldowns, it can do good in burst with the right party composition, but a scout is generally going to do more. D/r is very useful for instances with high crit resist, sun temple for example, whereas you can easily bring a d/w buffalt outside for 1 run if you need the extra dmg Also certain combinations can play different roles, k/p can be a tank/healer, same with ch/p, which also can be played as support. Ofc its hard to capture every situation in something like this so i think that this approach will anyway help people struggling to pick a class. Would also move w/wd into god tier if you have wd/w, both are strong classes, im assuming you compared it to w/s, but both equally have pros and cons.

I think I covered most of it in the text below the picture, but I agree, it probably is too generalized for our use. I mean, I even underlined, italicized, and bolded it in in the first sentence about it under it. But this isn't for our use, as I stated. Anyone who has played for a month or longer could probably make a similar list if they tried. This will be useful to the (hopefully) any new people from Steam and the already number of threads we get that ask which classes are useful.

And I'll wait to edit Wr/Wd (and Champ changes) to God tier if there are any other changes that people would suggest. Thanks guys.

"Omg, my eyes hurt. It's like a bad box of Skittles."

there is no such thing as a bad box of skittles. except an empty one.

Just made this for general reference/idea for new players who post the daily question of "Which class is good at PvE instances" ?

If you'd like to make a suggestion of a move, I'd love to hear it...constructively. BUT PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE COMMENTING.

    General acknowledgements before complaining:

80% of the classes on this list are classes I have not played in their current form (or at all). 10% of them I probably have never seen in game at all.

I based my opinions on my personal knowledge (either playing or running with the classes) or other people's knowledge (I looked at a lot of forum threads that listed the "best" classes or "unique" classes).

The order of the classes in their tier is alphabetical by role.

First and foremost, the overall useful in instances was the main factor. But there was a bit more to it than that.

I didn't want to include every role for every class combination. I only put them at what they would be ranked highest at (if it was a tie between categories, I used put them at whatever their main class's stereotypical role was). For example, a Wd/Wr very much could be a tank. I'd even put them in the tier named "Top". However, they are already under the "God" tier, which is better than "Top", in DPS. Another example, K/M is a "Mid" tank, but it would also be a "Mid" DPS. Knights are "meant" to be tanks, so I put it in that category. I might change my stance on this, but I felt like if we include multiple roles, it should be limited to "Mid", "Top", or "God" tiers only.

I didn't know if I was going to include a buffer category when I made this, since they can be doing other things post-buffs (if its a one time buff). However, I decided to include it because I figured their use as a buffer is really their only "Mid" or higher role. They have limited use outside of the buffer role. It is all they should be used for and they are musts for endgame parties. You'll notice that other mainstay buffers, for example Ch/P, WD/S, and K/P have other roles they can actively fill, but are also great buffers when not filling that role.

The tiers don't represent what can or can't be done by a class, but rather their relationship to other classes. For example, a M/Ch could participate in a run, but they'd perform a lot better as a M/W.

"God" Tier is really defined by the ideal circumstances for a party's make up. They are the highest standards when it comes to runs.

"Trash" Tier really had multiple thoughts behind why some classes are there. It is basically "I wouldn't use this in a party instance, ever. Fast track them to getting updates."

For most of them, they are "confused" classes. For example, P/W, the Battlemonk, is a class that has physical DPS and healing, but sucks in both of them.

Others simply aren't used by anyone. While they could be used, no one does because they offer no noticeable perks to where people use them. Wr/Wl and Wl/Wr, I see you. Well, I mean, technically, I don't see any of you.

I debated on one major aspect throughout making this. "Is it trash compared to other versions of its own class or other class combinations in general?" For example, you'll notice all the scouts/x are "Mid" or higher. That is simply because scouts/none would perform better than most of the "Low" and "Trash". However, if you were to compare just scouts, I would put S/D and S/P into "Low" or "Trash". You'd almost have no reason to play S/P or S/D with three free classes and the inability to be S/P/D.

On a similar note, note all the classes in the same tier are necessarily equal. Think of them as ranges on a bell curve. "God" tier might be the top 10%, "Top" might be the next 20%, "Mid" might be the next 40%, "Low" might be the next 20%, and "Trash" might be the bottom 10%". So I'm not saying two class in the middle are necessarily equals, but they are both located in the middle range of all classes.

I could have probably split DPS into Burst DPS and Sustained DPS. You'll notice Wr/M in the "God" tier DPS. They are sustained DPS while most of the others in that category. While they aren't ideal for burst damage runs, I still put them there for their sustained DPS. The problem with splitting the category into these categories is the lower rankings where a DPS is good at neither of them or a class is equally good at both of them.

"But __ is in Mid when it should be in Low."
Please explain why if you make posts like this. I'll update if there is general consensus I am wrong. I'm doing this to help people, not to cause arguments. Thanks! <3

Hello, I saw a thread that mentioned the frustration of not being able to get information off of the old forums so I thought I'd share some techniques that you can use to still browse their cache/archived versions. Neither of these options will necessary make the pages look as pretty as they were, but they will have the information you are looking for.

    The first is from Google.

If you type in what you want to see and it brings you to a link of an old forum thread, when you click it, it will likely redirect you to the home page of the new forums.

You can instead try to use Google's Cache by click the drop down arrow and clicking cache like the following image shows.

    c8b52ad2086f34919ea535cc2d06a98a.png

If that doesn't work (fair chance it won't) you can copy the link to the specific thread by right clicking on the link and copying the address.

    66f776e410129598d226041dd8466a06.png

Then you can head over to the Wayback Machine website, which archives a lot of the internet for free!

    https://web.archive.org/

You'll then paste the link into the site to see if they have a copy of it (they didn't for the thunderstorm example, so I switch to a different link for the screenshot).

If they do, then you should see something like this. You'll want to find the latest page version (in the picture it is, July 12th, 2018 at 13:48:33) and click it. It will bring you to what the page (roughly) looked like at that time.

If you aren't looking for any specific information and just want to browse OR you want to copy and paste mass-information over to the news forums so that it can be found without using this, you can use the following link that will take you the US or EU forums main page on Web Archive.
