Can anyone tell me where to collect (what quests to go on) blue set sets 65-100?

Blue armour & gear set items come from the main questlines running through the 65-100 level zones.

Whilst the blue-quality gear comes in "Redhill Mountains" onwards, the quest lines they appear in start in Thunderhoof Hills.

    Thunderhoof Hills > Limo Desert

Land of Malevolence > Tergothen Bay

Ancient Kingdom of Rorazan > Sarlo

    Wailing Fjord > Kashaylan

    Splitwater Coast and onwatds...

It's always possible to collect one full set of gear, rings, necklace and earrings along with a few weapons.

Sometimes, you can pick up a few pieces of a second set of gear - some quests will offer a choice of all four armour types, and some will offer only two, followed by the other two in a second quest. This is quite useful if your second or this class uses a different armour type.

you can level up all classes until 89 (1 lvl below the lvl when the fairy dissappears) with the exp buffs but once the fairy dissappears, you can't get her again

Aye, this is true for new characters, but if you have an old character, with lower level classes below 30, you get a "Newbie Pet Egg" instead of the new "Spirit of Adventure Pet Egg".

Thus, you do not benefit from having getting the speed-levelling-buffs.

...if you have some insight please share.

Any new character you create will receive new level-up-goody-bags. The contents of those bags are here: daily login bonus

The "Newbie Pet Egg" has been replaced with a completely new and different Pet Egg which buffs you, as long as you have the fairy summoned. You get 50% extra XP & TP from quests.

Given that the Pet Egg is for new characters, any existing characters we have with lower levels will be unable to get this Pet Egg.

I intend to take a 4th class for one character (or reset a third class) to see if being level 1 again will give me the new Pet Egg, or the old one - if I even get one at all!

I've had another go at this and did indeed receive the Newer bags this time.

The 'Fairy' is what buffs you and if recalled, the buffs won't renew upon expiration. (Best to keep the annoying thing summoned!)

This works whether you choose Old or New after the Tutorial, or if you skip the Tutorial.

I'm not sure why I received the older bags on the other character...

I just started a new character to see what you might have missed. The first message says, "This is your only chance..." Click NO and it will ask you if you want to stay where you are or go to the CoO. Choose CoO.

yes, there is the old tutorial area. if you had choose that, you go the old questline

Actually, if you do follow the Tutorial, which many new players are likely to do, you still get the option to go to Coast of Opportunity, which is what I did.

Tutorial > Coast of Opportunity > Xaviera > Weeping Coast > and so on.

    wdym by "old stuff"?^^

you get less trash items and more useful stuff... even useful plus stones (not the gold ones xD)

The first Goody Bag dropped into my backpack right after character creation, so is not dependent on where you quest.

I received none of the new items, receiving all the items from the level-up bags up until level 30, which was the last one. I then had to follow the relevant questline across the Sea of Snow to get the level 35 bag.

There isn't a 'New Tutorial' at all - you still have to beat the same old Spider King.

idk which spider kind you mean but even in the announcement screenshots you can see the tutorial dialog (so yes, there is a new tutorial) + there is a new questline till lvl 30ish

Right from the very beginning of the game, you always had the option to enter the Tutorial - this is NOT new.

From 2008, the Tutorial has always been a small area where you kill some spiders and then kill the Spider King. It still is - there is NO new tutorial.

You are then given the option to quest in Coast of Opportunity, which is something that was added in a wee while back - this is definitely the start of "the new player experience" but there 's really been no change to the quest XP rewards, despite previous patches a couple years back stating there was.

aaaand here's a (roughly translated) list of the new bags and their contents:

    245398 -> Level 2 -> 2x Ring + 24h Mount

    245399 -> Level 4 -> 2x Earring + Shoulders + Cloak

    245400 -> Level 7 -> 7-day Mount + ...

Now, that I find interesting as the bags I received still had all the old stuff.

I created a new character to give this 'new player experience' a bit of a test.

There isn't a 'New Tutorial' at all - you still have to beat the same old Spider King.

However, you are offered the ability to start levelling in Coast Of Opportunity instead of Logar or Elven Island - probably Yrvandis Hollows too, but I didn't bother testing that.

Supposedly over the years, the quest XP rewards between level 50 and 80 have been adjusted to allow faster levelling, but I haven't seen anything different yet. I'm in Redhill Mountains and still only level 66...

Aneiyaa was a player just like many of us, and through years of play, got to know the game really well.

On the old forums, there were many guides made by some of us, and some have been copied over to these new forums, although 'new' is now quite old too.

Head over to the Guides section and go to the oldest few pages to find them.

You're spotting all the things you can do right now by looking at your Wings, Runes, TP potions and Amulets.

There's not really much else to do except once you reach the level cap. At that point, you'll stay at level 100 but your TP will continue to accumulate.

Eventually, it'll be possible to have all your skills at level 100, except the ones that cap at level 50. It'll take a long, long, long, time to do that, but it can be done.

Until then, you'll have to prioritise the skills you raise.

A few years ago, I decided I was no longer going to chase the top endgame stuff as I was going through diamonds like milkshake through my lactose-intolerant-digestive-tract! :D And those things are not cheap.

Although I reached level 100 quite some time ago, most of the skills I use are still at level 80+, and a few lower than 70. I can kill mobs without issue, most elites and can solo my way through some of the lower and mid-level instances to farm Ancient Memento's. I also play the various minigames each day to get Phirius Shells - both of which I can use to obtain new gear/stats.

New gear/stats will increase your abilities, not just the TP.

GameForge has reworked the daily loyalty rewards. You will now need to acquire a certain level with your character to retrieve the reward from the shop.

It would have been nice to have some announcement about the change, even disclosing the level needed.

I spent about 47 minutes relogging all the characters on an account to no avail.

Also- people who run the game in Linux say they don't crash.

    I'd say they're lying.

When I ran a full-blown PC, I used Linux with Windows inside a VirtualBox for those specific apps that had no real Linux alternative back then.

I used WINE/PlayOnLinux/Bottles to run RoM and it would eventually build to a crash, just as Windows did.
