  • Since i only found a really old Guide to the Warden/Warrior in the german forum and not really sth about Warden/scout i thought i would give anyone whose interested a little overview about how both of the classes can be played. For obvious reasons i wont say anything about tanking with Wd/Wr (looking at you K/Wr).

So about stating its quite simple 6x Str./Patt. Runes i got to look up what i'm currently running but anything with Str. & Patt should work out.

Gear wise its the same for both, the chainmail amour from the hardmode, 2h-axe from hardmode, the massacre set from hall of earth and for the other ring and earing the blue quest items, preferable from Chazzis.

So longtime Bufffood and Buffs are quite the same for both as well.

    Must Buffs and Food are:

    1. Honey Ribs (or Steamed Fish Steak) depends if u can get over the def of the Boss (of course with help from some debuffs of ur group)
    2. Heros Potion
    3. Shadow of the Mist (Set skill from Bethomia) or Tranquil Wave (from Nabod Klein, next to the extraction NPC)
    4. Wedding food
    5. Buffs from ur Guilde Castle (atk Buff and maybe Lp/Mp if u got space left)
    6. Transformation Potion (Preferable Ayam Priest because of the Wisdom Buff -> more Mana, but any with Str. works quite fine)
    7. Zodiac Pets
    8. Title system

    Situational Buffs:

    1. Briar Shield
    2. Protection of Nature

Buffs u should get from your group:

    1. Awakening of the Wild (or Amplified Attack if dont have a D/Wr)
    2. Sublimation Weave Curse
    3. Savage Blessing

Nice to have Buffs from your group:

    1. Grace of life (only from P/K)
    2. Concentration Prayer

For both classes the rotation run around Charged Chomp between each other Skill

I'm open to Suggestions or Correction if i got sth mixed up.

I hope it helps some of u to get into playing either class

  • thanks :)

    2 things:

    • Warden/Warrior Short Time Buffs: why do you use Elven Guidance? for MP? In the first ~20 Seconds you got enough MP. if you use it for mp reg, you should cast it mid fight (but its recover not that much MP)
If you got MP trouble there's other food that helps like mp pots or Magic Fruit Pie
    • Frantic Briar has no gcd so you can use charched chop -> frantic briar -> other skill in 1s
  • thanks :)

So the Elven Guidance thing might be a leftover when i switched from Tank to DD, but obviously Phirius MP Pots, the one u can buy from NPC and the ones from Alchemy are the better choice.

to frantic briar, is kinda new to me but can be that i just came back from a really long break from the game
