  • This boss is still broken, almost a year since it was "patched".


    patches 7.2.1.2851 - 7.2.1.2854 were implemented on 25th October 2018 - Known Issues :

    - Vale of Rites / Boss Marissha: there is a problem with the boss mechanic and Crystals are not spawning. This is known bug and was reported to Runewalker, so we can fix is a soon as possible.


    It did not need a patch in the first place and it makes the instance now pretty boring because if you are unlucky you have to kill 3 red crystals every time the boss disappears. Which can also cause the boss to enrage if you lose the RNG lottery. Is there any way to revert this boss back to how it was before these patches?

  • I guess it would depend where the boss broke, if it was the lua script of the boss that broke or something else which has resulted in the boss becoming broken. The first would be easy to revert and would just require copying the old script. The second would require way more work to find and fix the issue, I would assume its the second option which is why it's taking so long. Runewaker have a habit of throwing lots of different scripts in with each other, so probably one of the functions in the same file is broken.

  • Since the thread was bumped, there is also bug at 2nd boss (Nex of Tasuq) Vale of Rites - sometimes the barriers (like it is still combat) are still there after killing the boss.
